In the midst of everyday hustle and bustle of Nairobians on the road, KG 3's were able to get on the peaceful roads of Karen in their school bus to visit the hospital. We were doing a project on 'Human Body and Cleanliness' and so we decided to visit the hospital's Radiography Department.
Outside of the hospital |
With a warm welcome we were politely asked to sit in their waiting area to be attended by a radiologist. |
Inside the X-Ray room, a technician showing us the chest equipment. |
The equipment for the X-Ray of the whole body. |
The proper attire to wear whilst getting an X-Ray. |
An anonymous chest X-Ray which was quite interesting to observe. |
An X-Ray is saved in a cassette. |
An anonymous X-Ray of legs. |
A follow-up activity, draw out, "Your trip to the Karen Hospital." |
