Parents Noticeboard: May

Dear Parents,

Goodbye April, Welcome May! This month we have some fun and exciting things to look forward too!

During the month of May we continue on the theme life under the sea and birds. The themes are interesting and we plan to have some exciting activities! Please encourage your child by sending anything related to the theme. If you have any story books related to the theme, please send it with your child. We would love to read it to our class!

We had a wonderful time in our fun filling day with fathers on Sunday 4th May 2014. Hope fathers are motivated to make an extra effort and more participation with your child’s school life.

April Recap:

We had a blast in our “Wild Animals” theme.

Children did a brilliant job in our first Spelling Bee Kindergarten on Friday 25th April 2014. The children deserve a pat on their backs! Thank you to the parents for coming to view the Spelling Bee which boosted our children's self esteem. We wish all the five participants the very best as they compete for MSB for our upcoming Inter School Spelling Bee Kindergarten.

Have you ever considered volunteering for Friday Activity? We love to have mothers come in to help and plan a Friday Activity. If you are interested kindly make an appointment by Monday 12.05.13 with us to organise any activity. You can also form a group with other mothers in Kg 3.

Important Reminders:
Please return the folders that we send your child's monthly work covered in school.

Karzan Hasanah cards and money will be collected every Friday.

You can send money every Friday for our school's sadaka and nazrul makam collection. This is an exercise carried out to help your child learn its importance.

Kindly send an old oversize short sleeve shirt for your child to wear during painting. Please ensure it is always in the bag for your child to use. Wash during the weekends.

Every Friday we shall have our Library Day where your child will bring a story book home. Kindly read the story to your child and return back on the next Friday without fail in order for your child to get another one. Any damaged or lost book will have to be replaced.

Special Note: "Remember to read with your child as often as possible!"

We very much appreciate the hard work put up by mothers during your child’s Star of the week. We kindly request all parents that no treats are allowed to be given out to the children as per the school policy. Thank you for your co-operation.

Kindly note the watsapp class group is for only teachers to relay a message. Please don't reply unless required. For any personal inquiry use the diary or in emergency call us. Thank you.

As we came to the end of our 2nd term, Nursery planned an Educational picnic trip to the Animal Orphanage related to our wild animals theme. Children came eager and excited to school to have a fun-filled day, and that is exactly what they got. We got to see some awesome animals such as the lion, tiger, cheetah etc. Oh how happy the children were. We were also lucky enough to observe a lion being operated on. We wish him a quick recovery! After viewing the animals, the children got to share their snacks with their friends and teachers on the Orphanage grounds.
