Parents Notice Board: July

Dear Parents, 

July is here! Which means we are almost nearing to the end of the year for our little ones. We have some bittersweet moments as we bid farewell. It has been a lot of fun watching the children grow, learn and make friends. We will certainly miss them as the move on to Year 1.

Thank you to the parents of our students. It has been wonderful to work together with you to make this first experience with school positive and rewarding. Thank you to the children who have made each day with them interesting, entertaining and memorable. The hours we are with them fly by.

June Recap:

We the Mumineen of Nairobi are fortunate to be blessed with the Deedar of Aqa Moula (T.U.S.) Kg 3 children were blessed with the start of Quran on the hands of Aqa Moula (T.U.S.) and all children of M.S.B. were bestowed with Aqa Moula (T.U.S.) Nazar Mubarak.

We completed the "Birds" theme and we continue with the "Insects" theme with great zest until the end of the school year. Our trip the Nairobi National Museum is coming up.

MSB organised the 1st Inter School Kindergarten Spelling Bee 2014. It was a successful and a well organised event.

Our little footballers participated in a friendly Football Tournament in June. On 13th June 2014 in the Premier School Tournaments. We came 3rd overall!  The children had a ball of a time!:)

AFEW Kenya Ltd– Giraffe Centre 2014 National Environment Competition. This year the theme was "Our Wildlife, Our Heritage, Our responsibility." We won the 1st Position in the Overall Kindergarten Art Competition.

  All our children have now reached the Oxford Reading Tree Series, level 6 and 7. For more practise we urge you to read free eBooks online on Oxford Reading Tree  Log in the "My Class Login " option. My Class Name: Kg 3 My Class Password: 5253 Select Age 5-6

 

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

 

Last day of School for all students: Thursday 10th July 2014.

Kindly ensure you return the library book tomorrow. We will not be issuing any more books.

Please ensure all text books that you received in the beginning of the school year have to be returned by Monday 7th July 2014.

 

Kg 3 Graduation 2013-14

Friday June 27th 2013 was the grand day for Kg 3 when they had their graduation ceremony.  They leave from the Kindergarten and step into the new class Year 1. Kg 3 recited the whole Dua and performed a thank you poem. Kg 1 & 2 shared our Kg 3's dreams of the future! Each child of Kg 1 dressed up as the future profession that the Kg 3 dreams to become. They gave a gift to their friends in Kg 3! We shall miss the Kg 3's! We wish the Kg 3's the very best as they move on. Lots of Love Batulben, Fatemaben and Muniraben :) We take this opportunity to thank you dear parents for your continuous support throughout the year.



 

 

 

 

 

Inter School Kindergarten Spelling Bee 2014



Premier School Football Tournament

Every year the Premier School organises a friendly football match tournament among different kindergarten schools in Nairobi. AMSB also participates. The tournament took place on Friday 13th June 2014. Our MSB Team stood 3rd! Way to go Children! They had an action packed day and enjoyed to the fullest! Congratulations!

Life under the sea.

Our theme on life under the sea turned out to be a fantastic and informative project. We personally enjoyed working on it just the same as our children did.

 Children did an imaginative creative writing on their scuba diving adventure.

 We had an activity where children drew an underwater scene using crayons. After that they painted it over with blue water paint. This created a beautiful picture.

We learnt about the polar animals. We made a polar region craft.

Children watched a learnt about the coral reef. Its importance and how to keep it safe. They watched a documentary and drew from memory of what they remembered form the video.

Kg 3 voted their favourite sea creature. Majority of the children chose the shark. We put it up on a bar graph.
